A proper job covers the ground and walls with a heavy vapor barrier, seals foundation vents, insulates the rim joist, and adds a dehumidifier or conditioned air sized to the space. We also address the moisture source first, grading, gutters, or a sump pump, so we're not sealing in a problem that's still actively flooding the space.
